Week 1

Welcome AMEP-A to our class blog! I hope we have an enjoyable and productive time every Monday afternoon!

This blog is where you log on each Monday afternoon to see what work you have to do during class. If you don't finish your work during classtime, you can always log on at home and work from there!

Each week when you open this blog, there will be set tasks for you to do. It is very important that you complete the work as it forms an ongoing part of your assessment portfolio.

There will activities varying from writing to listening to speaking and reading. You should NEVER say that you don't know what to do or that you have nothing to do in this class!

Once you have created your own blogs, then you can work on them independently at home or in class ONLY WHEN you have completed the tasks for that day's lesson.

Sometimes I will set the tasks and sometimes you will be directed to another blog (Rosa's) if I feel that the activities are suitable and relevant to you.

To begin, enjoy the photo album I created around my holiday in Falls Creek, Victoria. When you have viewed the photos, ask me some questions about them. When you have the answers, you can write a short recount of my holiday following the structure I taught you this morning. When you have completed that task, I'll show you how to create your own blog! Then you can post your answer in Comments before writing a recount of your last holiday and posting it in YOUR blog!

On 26th Dec 2008, Marion went to Falls Creek in Victoria for a holiday with her family and a friend. The weather there was sunny but cold and windy. They did a lot of walk. Once they chose a wrong path, so they had to walk down the mountain along a cliffy path and Marion hurt her knee. Fortunately, they are safe. They stayed there for a week. Marion said she was relax and enjoyed this holiday very much.

Recount
On Monday, 16.02.09, I viewed the new photo album of Marion, my English teacher. She was in Victoria (Australia) on her Christmas holidays. She traveled in company with her beautiful daughter and a friend. They visited the interesting places, Rocky Valley Dam, Falls Creek.
It's a place where nice-looking, peaceful scenery matched with majestic waterfalls and wild outcrops ..
Adventure started from viewing of not big Falls Creek village and beautiful surrounding valleys, then travelers explored several remarkable sight such as rocky outcrop and a small lake with waterfall. I saw in her travel journal also an attractive paht through the Alpine National Park and a photo Marion's companions.
In the end of the album are represented the amazing photos of oldest cattleman's hut among ancient trees.
I was really enjoyed with viewing perfect album and have to say: Thank you, Marion!

Last weekend I looked again at your blog and your post about your holidays in Victoria with your family.
I noticed that you went there on the 26th of December last year. You were in Falls Creek, Rocky Valley Dam and Alpine National Park. You stayed in old ski lodge with open fire. It looks like you had a great time relaxing away from the big city. Thank you very much for great photos.
